Hey Folks,
You are making it happen and it’s really pretty amazing.
Neil Shearing sent me an e-mail and said that I was responsible for Phil Wiley’s latest blog post.
Last night I got an e-mail from John DiLemme as he flew off to yet another big event — that man is ALWAYS on a plane.
John is apparently a Rolex man.
Watches – HMMM??
Great controversy…
I believe prosperity is an all around success issue – I love your watch and as I am writing this from an airplane as I am heading to an event, the sun just hit the diamonds on my rolex…
As a Rolex wearer – I love your watch because you are a great guy…
Here’s a little tip for all the speakers who are talking about your watch…
Get ready for a little more controversy

Tell them to make sure they are wearing one and I do not care if it is $5.00 or $200,000 because when they speak live most of them never look at it when they speak because they always go over their time and mess up the whole event they are speaking at – Fired UP!

More to come on this – keep me in the loop…
John DiLemme
Doug Champigny sent me a very helpful e-mail …
Here’s a link to add to your blog:
Just ask people to give you a thumb’s up at stumbleupon – I’ve already put your name there as a tag & reviewed your blog.
Next, set up a profile at technorati ( I checked, you don’t have one there yet) and then put a link like this in your sig file on the blog:
You’ll end up with a page there like http://technorati.com/blogs/dougchampigny.com which will send visitors your way for a while…
Technorati sends me as many as 30 or 40 visitors a day, while on a good day StumbleUpon has sent as many as 553 when a few people stumbled me the same day.
Two more ongoing things that help – you have your own tags both at the top and bottom of your post – replace the bottom set of tags with technorati tags to get more visitors from them, and record yourself reading the post and add it as a podcast each time or from time to time. Podcasts get you into more directories, like iPod & the Yahoo podcast directory, both of which widen your reach – especially iTunes, since any of their people can subscribe to your feed and listen to your podcasts on their iPods.
Great ideas Doug!
Here’s the new Technorati Page.
I just added a new Face Book profile too. If any of you are on Face Book you can hook up with me there or on LinkedIn.
Here’s a quick update on my new book, Impact, How to Get Noticed, Motivate Millions and Make a Difference in a Noisy World …
I just got the cover art back from the publisher, but I’m not sure if I’m allowed to show anyone yet. I received a big package of “instructions” from the publisher and one of the things that they told me was NOT to build up too much interest for my book yet.
They apparently don’t want me to stir up a lot of interest in a book that no one can buy yet! In fact, they told me that people might go off and by someone else’s book if I got them too interested.
So … don’t be all that interested in my book … yet.
But, if you are interested in the subject of how to create impact and make a difference, definitely signup for “The Impact Factor” because that is the main focus of my life for at least the next year or so.
Glenn Dietzel and his amazing team from “Awaken the Author Within” are going to be coaching me on how to write my book in only 12 hours of actual writing time. Glenn is actually putting me through his $10,000.00 mentoring package and YOU are going to get a chance to listen in as we do it LIVE and unscripted — well at least unscripted on my part — Glenn and his team are VERY organized.
I’m dying to tell you how to signup, but unfortunately the site isn’t quite ready. Just be watching for this coming up VERY soon.
As part of the book writing I’m putting together my “thesis” for the book.
I think I’ve nailed down 10 key areas that can exponentially increase your impact, but I’d love to get you input an see what other things you would like covered in the book.
Now is the the time to let me know if you have ideas.
There’s a clear path to having an impact and making a difference. Here are ten of the key factors that I’ve identified:
- Solve a Big Problem
- Find Your Audience and Identify Key Influencers
- Build Automated Systems
- Create Products and Services with Recurring Income
- Get Noticed and Develop Real Relationships
- Build Anticipation and Provide Proof
- Persuade and Motivate Key Influencers to Take Action
- Rapidly Motivate Millions
- Launch with Intensity
- Activate Feedback Loops and Listen to Your Audience
Repeat for Exponential Results.
Let me know what YOU think should be added to this list.
More coming soon!
