A very insightful and thought provoking post, Ken.

The truth is that there are 3 sides to every story. The sides of each person involved and the truth. Perspective is based around how one individual sees a current situation. Normally they are basing that vision on small pieces of what actually happened.

People will always disagree, see things differently, and fight. We all make a choice to become involved in garbage or focus on what is important.

I’d rather focus on what is important ;-)

Sometimes “our friend” can be ourselves, too! We make promises to ourselves that we don’t keep (sometimes) and we are fully capable of letting ourselves down. In fact, often we do this to ourselves when we would never (consciously) do it to another. Heck, I’ve been known to argue both sides of a point with myself! (I call it the Tevye syndrome…”on the other hand”)
Bottom line, we keep growing as people, learning and evolving. Friends accept our faults and care about us anyway. We deserve to do that with ourselves as well.
I am no longer convinced there is “a truth”…rather truth is always filtered by perspective. That is what allows us to have such strong and different opinions. Having different opinions is part of what allows us to have such a broad range of experiences in the world.
Wouldn’t it be a boring place if we all liked the same things and agreed on everything?

        Hi, Ken!

It’s long been said that you can judge a person by the friends they keep – if that’s so, it would be a very rare occasion when your friends ever disappointed anyone. No one goes further out of theur way to help, to deliver and to build people up than you do, and that rubs off on everyone around you.

While that may sound like pandering, it isn’t – after 10 years in this business you’re just about the only high-profile marketer I’ve never heard anyone utter a negative word about. And we both know how unusual that is this this biz.

Just keep on being you, Ken – our whole industry is better for it! And know that Teri, I & our gang will be at JVAlert Live every time we can!

        To your continued success…

If a conscious man or woman interpreted your statement incorrectly and you lost their subscriptions, then truly you have mastered the correct approach in copy writing skills to flush out the weak one’s, holding onto your devout followers.
