Ken McArthur and John Reese on FIRE! It had to happen, so now what!

Hey Folks,

jvAlert Live couldn’t be stopped! The book is flying off the shelves! The future is unlimited!

So now what?

Traditionally, Summer is the slow season for Internet marketing efforts, so that was the time that I took to build solid products, do my research and try to create the next big thing.

Last year about this time I started planning everything that I was going to do for my Impact project and I spent a solid YEAR putting everything together for the book, Impact: How to Get Noticed, Motivate Millions and Make a Difference in a Noisy World and the amazing coaching programs that go along with it.

But … this summer there is no rest.

Early Saturday morning I’m headed out the door for a solid month!

First stop … Lincoln, Nebraska???

Yep and in this case I really do think I’m headed into the fire!

As most of my reader’s know, I’m not big on tearing other people down.

Life is hard enough without having to deal with people launching personal attacks against you and the people that you care about and people involved in Internet marketing are an easy target. It’s easy to take pot-shots at marketers calling them spammers and scammers. If you don’t believe that, witness what happened to my friend John Reese just last week.

People who have no clue about the WONDERFUL people who come to jvAlert Live, my friends … no my family … are attacking some of the best of the best on a personal level and to be honest, sometimes it drives me to do things that I shouldn’t do.

So why am I spending three weeks in Nebraska on the set of a REALITY SHOW?

Reality shows are FAMOUS for backbiting and cheap-shots.

Well, it all started when Thor Shrock, who was one of the finalists in Joel Comm’s, Next Internet Millionaire reality show came to jvAlert Live to be on our special Next Internet Millionaire Panel.

Thor was working even then on his own reality show called Top Affiliate Challenge. In fact, a number of the people who attended jvAlert Live auditioned for Thor’s show live in Orlando and Thor asked me to lead one of three teams for the show.

Whew! Big-time commitment for someone who is already as busy as I am!

But Thor is a pretty persuasive guy and before I knew what hit me, he had me signed up to travel to Nebraska for three weeks where who know what will happen!

Top Affiliate Challenge is a new type of web‐based reality info‐tainment program that will pit three teams against each other in a 21‐episode real‐time affiliate marketing competition. Throughout the show, viewers will learn new, cutting edge strategies that top marketers use to move affiliate products on the web.

The show’s 12 contestants will work their hearts out while striking a fine balance between their own self interests, the welfare of their team, and the size of their affiliate income bank accounts, all the while knowing there can only be one winner.

Contestants on Top Affiliate Challenge will be filmed selling real products to real customers online in real‐time. To encourage viewership, contestants will be allowed ask fans to vote for them with their wallets by buying the products they are marketing. Just as in real life, contestants will be allowed to use any resources they have – whether built on the show or before hand – to gain an advantage over the other teams.

Thor lined up two other affiliate marketing experts to lead the other two teams. These guys are super-stars of the blog world.

Meet Jeremy “ShoeMoney” Schoemaker.

Jeremy’s skills have led him on a wild ride swinging from unemployment to an 8 figure income in only a few years.

Jeremy “Shoemoney” Schoemaker is one of the most successful internet marketers of our time. He has proven his skills online in the PPC community, time and again in affiliate marketing, and is legendary for his $133,000 Google AdSense check.

In 2007 Jeremy launched the AuctionAds advertising network and added more than 25,000 affiliates in a mere 4 months of operation who generated millions a month in revenue. Whether its his blog or any of his companies ShoeMoney has proven that he has the dedication, drive, and at times the audacity to get the job done

Nice credentials!

But …

Apparently he doesn’t think a lot of me!

Jeremy had never heard of me until Thor announced the experts for the show and already he is calling me a spammer.

Sigh ….

For the record, Everyone has to double-opt to anything that I do and I try to give people EASY ways off of all of my lists and membership sites — By the way, if you ever have any problems getting off of ANYTHING I do just use our help desk system. That avoids email delivery issues and is the fastest way to get help for all of our projects and programs.

I’m pretty sure that I’m about to have my reputation trashed for good just by putting myself in the line of fire, but SOMEONE needs to stand up for people who try to earn a decent living through Internet marketing.

Reality shows are a completely artificial environment. Speed and tactics rules and sometimes shortcuts are taken, so don’t confuse a reality show with real life. But do take the opportunity to learn about the possibilities!

I’m sure that I will be learning a lot!

Next up is John Chow

John Chow is officially the founder and CEO of TTZ Media Inc., an advertising network that provides shopping comparison banners to its affiliate sites, but you might know him better for his extremely popular blog. Known for his ability to recognize weaknesses in systems and exploit them to his advantage, John has been banned – and then readmitted – to more online services that any other blogger on the planet. His blog is still deindexed in Google to this day.

John is best known for showing the power of blogging when he used his blog as an income case study. He took the blog from $350 per month to a over $27,000 per month in just one year, and has served as an inspiration to aspiring bloggers across the globe.

Tough competition!

Plus … two jvAlert Live Veterans made the cut as top-ten contestants!

Both Jason Henderson and Ronda Del Boccio, both valued members of the jvAlert Live family, placed in the top ten! That’s a huge accomplishment because there was some tough competition going on. In fact, Ronda wrote a great article about how she used my book, Impact: How to Get Noticed, Motivate Millions and Make a Difference in a Noisy World to get some amazing support from a non-profit organization, The World Association of Persons with DisABILITIES to help her get on the show. In fact, she is making a difference by giving a portion of her winnings from the show to The World Association of Persons with DisABILITIES so it’s a win-win situation for everyone.

Jason Henderson was amazing at lining up testimonials in his quest for a top spot and he landed it with no problems at all.

Congratulations to both of you! I’ll see you VERY soon!

Well, I fly back to Philadelphia … for a day.
